Touchlib
Touchlib is a library for processing multi-touch interaction with a suitable multi-touch input surface. It handles tracking blobs of infrared light, and sends your programs these multi-touch events, such as ‘finger down’, ‘finger moved’, and ‘finger released’.
It includes a configuration app and a few demos to get you started, and will interface with most types of webcams and video capture devices. It currently works only under Windows but can be compiled to work on linux as well. (i haven’t tested Touchlib’s functionality on linux for my self first hand so i can’t comment it its workings)

What can I use other than Visual Studio 2005?
umm… the only other thing i can think of is linux to compile it under. Otherwise VS2005 is all i can think of….
i know other people have tried to compile under visual C and other software but it hasnt worked out for them… you can always download a trial copy from MS.

Hi I´m doing all this steps but when I try to Build Touchlib the software shows me 24 errores: fatal error can´t open the file include ‘cv.h`: No such file or directory, can you help me please? I´m writing from Colombia.
I think you are missing Open CV, you need to download and install the openCV, and link it to the project
the anterior problem was fixed, but know the visual studio told me: LINK : fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file ‘cv.lib’

I’ve installed the precompiled binary..but when I run the config.bat I get blck screen. Its not picking my camera (knowing that my camera is working & properl installed)..? what are the steps required so it can pick the camera?
My environmet Windows XP SP2.

that error is kind of vague, there could be a number of problems, i suggest going through the minimum requirements and getting the appropriate dependencies and trying again.

Without seeing what line is causing the error cant say what the cause of it is.
